Grind some garlic into a paste, apply it on the face, taking care to keep it away from the eye area. Leave it on for about 10 minutes, then wash off. The smell could get a little strong, though.

There are more home remedies you could try, if you want severe acne treatment. Grinding nutmeg with fresh milk has been known to instantly remove pimples, you can also mix 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder with 1 teaspoon lemon juice, and apply it topically to the acne lesions. This is a very effective method. Cinnamon powder, in fact, is highly beneficial, you could mix it with honey, form a paste, and apply it as a mask. Keep overnight, and wash off in the morning, this is bound to show great results.

Paste of orange peel works wonders as well, so this is one method you can try. However, if you do not have the time to grind the orange peel to a paste, you can simply rub the peel on the pimples – this works well too. Other miracle cures as severe acne treatment include papaya juice and potato juice. You can also blend a little lime juice with boiled milk, and use as a face-wash to deal with pimples. Also, rose water mixed with an equal part of lime water works as severe acne treatment, leave this on for half an hour, and then wash off with lukewarm water. You can also use the juice or paste of ripe tomatoes, and apply it to your zits – this is a very effective cure as well.

Another method you could try is to apply mint juice – this is a proven way to treat pimples. Powdered pomegranate skin, mixed with lime juice is also effective. In fact, this is also effective in treating blackheads, whiteheads, and boils.
However, it’s not just about putting things on your face. You need to watch your diet as well. Eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Keep away from rich foods and fried foods – this includes doughnuts, French fries, rich chocolate cakes, hamburgers…We never said the process was easy! Eat fish from cold-water ocean, lean meat, stock up on carrots, broccoli, beans, peas, corn – be sure to eat lots of food rich in fiber. Stay away from chocolates.
Ultimately, you’ll need to have lots of self-control, and put in much effort, to get effective severe acne treatment.
